Guitar Mindset chp.1

Playing a fast solos on guitar is not an easy job. But it's worth, at least you can impress the girls or intimidate the other guitarists. Well, as i said before, it's not an easy job to do. You must learn this, that and so on. Even if you're a professional guitar player, you still have to practice regularly to keep your hands insane, or it will rot and depress you!

People think that practicing guitar can add variations to their composition. They can make unique, original and variative composition when they learned some techniques. But you must know, the one which mainly influence your developmet in mastering those advanced techniques is your own mindset and spiritual condition! Not your guitar ebook, guitar videos or else. Below is a little mindset theraphy to make you realize something important in practicing guitar.

Take some time and think this, "WHY DO I WANT TO PLAY GUITAR?", that is your first thing to do. Is it to impress my friends, girls? Is it because i like guitar? Challenging? Whatever the reason is, try to be honest, and turn it become your spirit to practice guitar, more and more. Remember, this is important, take your time well.

Discipline. What?! Discipline? I just want to rock out! Well maybe you're true about that, but there are many kinds of discipline. Discipline on making a schedule to practice guitar is important. It will NOT HAMPER YOUR CREATIVITY! read that again! Make a special schedule, let's say that you're practicing all days a week. Take 3 or 4 days to learn scales, theory, progressions and so on. At that time, practice your skills. Then take the rest days of the week to have fun with your guitar. Jamming with your friends is not a bad idea. This time just rock out! Use your creativity to make new songs, compositions, licks, riffs and etc. With this, you can develop your SKILLS AND CREATIVITY TERRIFICLY.

Do you ever see some stepping stones in a river? When they're close each other, you can jump on them and progress further to cross the river. But when they're far away, it's hard to jump or maybe impossible and you can't cross the river. A dead end for you. That's is your third mindset. Set A SIMPLE GOAL, and practice it UNTIL it becomes piece of cake! Making a simple one will make you focused and it will help you to develop. Example, this day is your first day playing guitar. You think that you must learn about the basic chords first, because that is important when you want to play songs. That's simple, but it makes you focused right? After that try to make it higher and higher. This way you will be focused and practice well.

Enough for this time, i'll write more later. Hopefully useful \m/

Vans Iron Maiden 2

Nice kicks right? It's Vans Iron Maiden, The Trooper. Vans may be known as the skater shoe.

But as you know music, styles, tees, kicks, they can't be separated in these days. They've become the lifestyle in most people, especially teens. So it's not a big deal when a skate brand release a band edition like this one. Premium quality is given when you bring this item home. Be careful that maybe thieves walk off with this Maiden instead of your money.

Skaterock Revival

Genre-crossing is an ordinary things in the world known as music. This guys, when Indonesia sunk in the Pop genre thing, they rise and stand against them. They tried to revive the music that has dimmed for certain times, in certain places, especially in Indonesia, that is skaterock!

Their music is still, focusing on the theme of teens lifestyle, life spirit and things like that. All the classical things in skatepunk/rock is packed well. Knowing the band means you know the lines up, and here they are...

First of all, meet our vocalist, Qory Irsan. He surely reflects the image of a true band player, and also a skater. His voice are mid level, with the rock accent. Never underestimate him, you don't know that he'll burn the crowd in every stageplay.

Move to the next section we have the founder of For People, Eryanda Aulia. This gallant man is trully a talented guitar player. Not only skillful, he creates good songs also. Being the leader of the band makes him feared and respected by other musicians in his town.

Next, we have Ridwan as rhythm guitarist. He plays the chords, progression smoothly, no wonder he was chosen to join Eryanda Aulia as his right hand man.

Another founder, Trama Ayaksa, the most delinquent person in the band. No offense, but from that thing, he gives many inspirations to the other member. He is the one who strongly make promotions and the motor of their recording sessions

Energetic, cheerful and smooth. That's the right words to describe M. Fitrah, For Peoples tempo keeper. Not only giving eccentric performance, he keeps the tempo smoothly and balanced.

Well, that's a little bit about this bands lines. Pay visit to their Myspace or Facebook to make contacts. Keep stand to Punkrock!

Unstopable Tide

If you're lookin for a metal band who doesn't scream or growl or whatsoever, dead solos, stunning vocals and performance, then pick this band! Whatever your genre is, listen to this band first!

Black Tide is an American heavy metal band from Miami, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band is currently signed to Interscope Records. The band is currently lined of Gabriel Garcia (vocals and lead guitar), Austin Diaz (rhythm guitar and vocals), Zachary Sandler (bass and vocals), and Steven Spence (drums, percussion). They mix thrash, glams, and some metalcore progressions into their song and made a kickin ass album, Light from Above.

First, Gabriel has now just turned 20 (correct this if im wrong). Take that into mind when first listening to this band (currently average age is around 20-24) and behold how stellar they are as musicians. Then again, that thing becomes controversial for some people. Some may see this factor as the selling point for the band. Black Tide have to struggle a little bit before truly being taken seriously by the Metal elite and their fans, but this record is solid, and flawless, which is often becomes a problem in debuts. They play like a band that has played for years, which is great, especially considering the age of the members. The "Hits" here are "Shockwave", "Warriors Of Time", the Metallica cover "Hit The Lights" and closer "Light From Above". Those are the singles, but All songs in their album "Light From Above" are GREAT.

They take Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera and some metalcore bands like Trivium as influences. Well, they chose the good one. What about their live performances? They jump, bang, kick and run without making any big mistakes. Solo? Don't even asked that! All Black Tide members are HIGH SKILLED. They play solo accurately and clean. The only minus for this band is that Gabriel's vocal is deeper now, and he started to scream, not sing. Overall, for a fresh-young band, this band will blow your ears!
